Located in the College of Public Policy, the Center for Policy Studies is an interdisciplinary center that focuses on service, policy issues, and applied research in the areas of demography, criminal justice, public administration, and social work. The Center for Policy Studies is dedicated to providing service and outreach, fostering community, cultivating an environ ment of integrity, excellence, inclusiveness, respect, collaboration, innovation, and transparency, and educating and training leaders.

Open to both undergraduate and graduate students, the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance is a national certification in nonprofit management and leadership. Upon completion, students earn the professional designation of Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP).
