Barbara McCabe is an associate professor who joined the Department of Public Administration faculty in Fall 2011.  She previously directed the masters program at Arizona State University's School of Public Affairs, where she taught public policy theory and analysis at the doctoral, masters and undergraduate levels as well as graduate courses in public affairs economics, budgeting and finance, intergovernmental relations, urban policy and organizational behavior.  Her research interests focus on state and local governments and the intersections between politics and markets.  Her work has appeared in such journals as Public Administration Review, American Review of Public Administration, Administration & Society, and the Journal of Public Affairs Education,where she serves as an editorial board member.  Her most recent work examines homeowners associations.
