In a new paper, Dr. Rebecca J. Walter, assistant professor for the UTSA Department of Urban and Regional Planning and co-authors Dr. Jill Viglione and Dr. Marie Skubak Tillyer from the Department of Criminal Justice are helping housing authorities update their admission policies for individuals with criminal records.  The goal is to help reduce recidivism and remove barriers to successful reentry for former inmates.
