Dieter Cantu is helping troubled teens succeed by providing books to youth across Texas as a way to improve their literacy and reduce the rate of recidivism.

UTSA Downtown campus students including social work students, who are members of Students Raising Children, partnered with La Trínidad United Methodist Church to provide child care for graduate students taking classes in the evening.  However, Students Raising Children are lining up funding and seeking to get an exemption to state licensing requirements.
