Reports from 2015 show that more than 3 million Texans lacked psychiatric services. Genesis Guillen, Master of Social Work student and one of the recipients of the 2018 Ima Hogg Scholarship, hopes to reverse that trend by making an impact to improve the quality of mental health services in the state of Texas.
