BPA Scholarship Information
The USAA Undergraduate Program Scholarship in Public Administration
To be eligible for The USAA Undergraduate Program Scholarship in Public Administration, you must be in good standing with UTSA, be an undergraduate, incoming or current UTSA student with a declared major in Public Administration and be enrolled full-time during the scholarship semesters, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. You must also be a registrered Texas resident and show demonstrated need, verified through the filing of a FAFSA application.

Dominion Rotary Club Past President’s Fund
The Dominion Rotary Club Past President’s Fund is an endowed award offered annually to a degree-seeking student with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. The chosen Dominion Scholar will be required to give a brief talk at a luncheon with members of the Dominion Rotary Club. Applications should be submitted directly to the Department office.
The MPA Program may award two Presidential Scholarships for the 2014-2015 academic year. This is a competitive award, disbursed equally in the FAll 2014 and Spring 2015 semesters. Applicants must be UTSA students enrolled in the MPA program full-time (9 hours in a long semester), with a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Public Administration Graduate Student (GIT) Scholarship
The Department is awarding several competitive scholarship awards for the 2014-2015 academic year. MPA enrolled students applying for this scholarship must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 with a minimum of 6 credit hours each long semester.

Rubén Munguía Scholarship in Public Administration
The Rubén Munguía Scholarship in Public Administration is an endowed award offered annually to an outstanding MPA Student. Eligible students must be a degree-seeking MPA student enrolled in at least 6 hours and with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Clarence E. Ridley Scholarship
The 2014-2015 Clarence R. Ridley Scholarship, sponsored by the Texas City Management Association, is a $5,000 educational fellowship for the August 2014-May 2015 academic year. The application deadline is January 10, 2014. For more details (on the website, click 'Programs'; 'Scholarships')
